The videoshoot took place on Muhu island in Estonia, where an ancient ash tree had recently fallen over.
In 2009 I visited Muhu for the first time. Since then I started going there every summer. For me, that ancient ash tree was a landmark that I visited every time I was on the island. At 2015, the tree fell over.
I symbolized the process of the tree's decay as the end of one stage of my life, leaving a part behind. But also seeing the process of decay as the potential for self-deformation.
