MIINA BARRERA PINOCHET is an artist from Estonia based in Kassel and Tartu. Her practice centers on gaining a deeper understanding of human nature, herself, and the environment. Using external symbols, metaphors, and quotes from her surroundings, she searches for answers to ingrained behavioral patterns. Her work often draws inspiration from soil, decaying trees, prickly plants, and crumbling infrastructure, with landscape, human presence, and movement in their various forms frequently taking center stage. |
